Oh sweetie, I know that feeling well! I hope the paxil helps, I'll keep you in my prayers! Hugs!
Posted by: Crystal on April 22, 2003 10:39 PMI know how the comfort eating goes. It is sooo hard to break because you get a pay off from it. Just remember that while you are trying not to use food as a source of comfort, you are making conscious choices to better your habits. You may not always make the right choices but each time it will get a little easier. *Hugs* I hope life lightens up on you and lets you breathe a while. Take care hon!
Posted by: Jennah on April 30, 2003 04:32 AMHang in there ... you can comfort/soothe yourself without eating to do it. FWIW, I've found that if I keep a full water bottle at my desk, it's difficult to drink less than a half-gallon over an 8 hour period. Maybe I'm just a heavy drinker?

Wow!
Great job on the upkeep of your dieting and exercising. And by the way it is sounding and looking, you are doing a great job!
Keep up the good work and good luck for the future! :-)
Posted by: Jillian on September 24, 2004 07:02 PMGood Luck. I am getting ready to get back into better habits. The water drinking has never been an issue for me, I can drink gallons of it if it is cold. Only I also can't go without my caffiene. :o(

Major Update
I haven’t posted here in almost two weeks, so here’s an update for that time.
Monday, April 7th:
Thirty minutes on the StairMaster (if I recollect correctly).
Tuesday, April 8th:
Forty minutes on the StairMaster.
Wednesday, April 9th:
Only thirteen minutes on the StairMaster since we got some Astros tickets at the last minute and I had to get ready to go.
Thursday, April 10th:
I was quite proud of myself on this day because I did an hour and ten minutes on the StairMaster at pretty high levels too.
Saturday, April 11th:
Twenty minutes on the StairMaster before eating anything, effectively doubling my time.
Sunday, April 12th:
Twenty minutes on the StairMaster before eating anything, effectively doubling my time.
Monday, April 12th:
Either twenty or forty minutes on the StairMaster. I can’t remember.
Tuesday, April 13th:
Forty minutes on the StairMaster.
Wednesday, April 14th:
Twenty minutes at a pretty good clip on the StairMaster.
Thursday, April 15th:
Fell asleep when I got home and didn’t feel like exercising when I woke up, so I didn’t.
Kymberlie said at 04:14 PM in Complete UpdateOn other fronts, the water drinking and the eating decent lunches are pretty much out of the window. I’m having a crappy time at work and feeling a lot of pressure from other sources in my life and I’m doing something I haven’t done in probably six or seven years - comfort eating. I’m hoping I can begin to get some thing under control and not do this. Wish me lots of luck.
